Ok, so I'm a super slacker and have not updated. Sue me....
A few weeks ago, my sister's Boy broke up with her. We (Hubby and I) were not totally heartbroken....he wasn't a BAD guy, but was a little fake. But, he liked roller coasters, so I'm a little bummed about that....anyway....someone left her a comment on her Blog that he had a new blog. He's boy scum!! They were together 4+ years and he just blows it off like it was nothing. He is all about partying and making money for "the good life." What a putz...
On a semi-related note...my parents ran into Darth Vader at the pizza store recently. He's working there, still! So maybe that WASN'T him I saw...or he's playing pizza man by night. Too bad (or good thing) I hate that pizza, or I'd be tempted to visit.
One more week til "vacation." What are we going to do???

My apologies if this intrusion is unwelcome, but having surfed through over 300 blogsites, yours is one of only 2 that are worth reading and I would like to congratulate you. My wife and I are Irish and have just taken early retirement from the UK Civil Service to live in Spain. Reading blogs like yours gives us a real feel for the "real USA". I doubt I could have recognised Minnesota on a map before starting to read you views on everyday life.
It is also a pleasure to read something that is written in the Queen's English (no offence meant, it is a figure of speech and a compliment) rather that the distorted version of the language that seems prevalent nowadays.
Anyway, as I said, I don't mean to intrude, and it is wrong of me even to suggest how you write your blog, but it would be nice if you could describe your town, how it functions and how people fulfil their roles etc. I find it all fascinating.
By the way, if you are at all interested in how the Spanish live their lives (a slightly sardonic view) the attached blogsite is my all time favourite. http://colindavies.blogspot.com/
