We just got a letter, we just got a letter....

And now for this week's blog.....
I haven't felt like blogging this week. Monday was a day of extreme lows....Hubby found out that his store is being sold and he is out of a job at the end of the month. Merry F***in' Christmas, huh? That night, while I was online in class, he was applying for jobs online. Isn't the internet great?!? Lots of tears and uncertainty.
Tuesday was spent...ummm...I don't remember Tuesday! But Wednesday, that, I remember! Hubby applied for a job at an electronics store (the same one that Darth worked for when we broke up) and then went into work. He left early to bring the truck to the truck store to get his shocks replaced (If he gets the job, I'll post a link to the site...). While he was milling around, he noticed a help wanted sign. So he asked about it and discovered that what they really need is a store manager...a position that he has 10 years of experience in!! SO, he filled out an application and hoped for the best. That night, the electronics store called to set up an interview for the next day. Thursday, he interviewed there and set up an interview at the truck store for Friday. Yesterday (Friday), he was offered the job at the electronics store and had an awesome interview at the truck store. He REALLY wants to work at the truck store....I want him to work there too (only because the whole Darth-Electronics Store connection makes me oogy). He's worried because he hasn't heard from Mrs. Truck Store (the owner's wife), but she had to talk with Mr. Truck Store, and then they'll set up another interview. She said if it was up to her, he'd be their new sales associate (he'd work up to the manager position, after he knows the product, etc). I can't wait to see what Monday holds for us :)
Plans for "vacation"...We'll go to the History Museum one day, and the Mall (I hope...I have a few little things to get before Chrstmas). Hubby has been asked to meet the new owner on Wednesday, and I need to go get my paycheck and my license tabs. Once we hear from the Truck place, we can plan the rest of the fun stuff around that.
