what a $h!tty weekend!

No, literally....Saturday the Fluffy One had poo stuck to her "fancy pants" (backside) and would not clean it off. So, we had to go pull it off, not once but twice. Ewww! Then today...we discovered that the sewer mainline had backed up....UBER backed up. There was TP and nasty stuff in the sewer access hole and the water had backed up and flowed to the laundry room. Thank god for Dri-core! Otherwise, all the carpet in the room would have been ruined and stinky. So, the Roto-Rooter guy came out and spent 2 hours clearing the mainline. Then we went to the grocery store. THEN, we spent another hour flushing the line from the laundry to the mainline, which was also plugged. Ugh! But, now can use the water again :) The house kind of smells like sewer, though.
Hubby brought home "Phantom of the Opera" the other night. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I did. Simon, my sister and I watched it Friday and my sister liked it too. I don't know about Simon...she fell asleep in the middle :) I've been humming the music all week. I have the next week off....maybe if there's a rainy afternoon I'll watch it again :)
Reunion on Saturday. We only have about 60 people coming, and NOW I hear that the director and her hubby haven't even RSVPed! I hope they are there!! It will be a fun night. We tried to watch the slide show the other night, but discovered two things: 1)the CD/DVD drive on my computer is not working properly and needs to be replaced (thank god for warrenties!) and 2) the slide show won't run off the CD, but will run once copied to the computer. SO, we copied the show both to my machine and to Hubby's machine and we'll use one for the reunion. Probably mine....no one will want to steal a computer with a big gapping hole in it (where the CD drive should be). Luckily, Dragon was over, so he was able to trouble shoot and pull the drive out so we can send it in for a replacement. Reminds me, we have to email Alienware....before bed, maybe. Hubby is sucked into the show "Intervention" right now, so there will be no help from him :) I don't care for it....I like "Family Plots" though. THAT'S a good show :)
Well, I'm gonna go see about some ice cream. Forgot to buy chocolate syrup :( Maybe I can crush some Oreos in instead....Hmmmmm.....

Just wanted to let the my faithful readers know that all is well here....I just have not been updating. Right now I NEED to go to bed....hopefully I'll get a chance to update. Not that there's much to talk about......Just don't want all this free web-space to go to waste, ya know :)

Ok, I was reading a few back posts (specifically the Mon, May 30 one) and I just realized I wrote "I slept off and on all day tomorrow" instead of "yesterday." hee-hee...that's kind of funny.....
Got all the vinyl cut for the blasted candle glasses (blasted as in sand-blasted). So, now I just have to clean up the glass and stick 'em all on......on 24 candle holders (small hurricane glasses, really). Then maybe next weekend we can go to my parents and have dad teach us how to sand blast. Hopefully the flats aren't too skinny. That would suck if they blew off.....Maybe I should ask my dad about that when I ask him about prepping the glass....
Last night, my sister and I made crab legs and ate until we were *almost* sick. Then we had Swiss Miss Fudge Bars. Yummmm.....
Yeah, I need an ice cream bar.....

Well, turns out...not gonna be parents in January. I started spotting last night and saw the Dr. today. More than likely a miscarriage. I haven't actually started miscarrying....probably this weekend or next week. Otherwise, I get to go in for a D&C...yippee.....
Now I have to call my sister and pretend like nothing is wrong. I am really hating life right now.....I hate how everything we try to do gets shit on, repeatedly. We are REALLY trying to get to Disney World now. Or at least away....from here. Life sucks.....

Two posts in one week!?!?

Hee-hee...I make myself laugh! Not really......
I FINALLY got my grade from family systems!!! I got a A! We'll get the papers back next week. I'll believe it when I see it! I got a B on one of the papers, and I really want to know why. Guess I'll find out next week!
6 weeks pg already. The worrisome thing is....I don't feel pregnant. My breasts aren't as tender as they were a while ago, I don't have to pee as much, my body doesn't seem to be changing, and I haven't had any sickness. I DO have really vivid dreams, which I guess is normal (hormonal change...similar to PMS, and I ALWAYS have weird, vivid dreams during PMS). I have been really....emotional. I SNAPPED at work..in front of a parent! I tried to laugh it off for him, but then I felt like a big stupid fool for the rest of the day. I feel like I was TOTALLY justified for snapping though, and still feel too stupid for not apologizing and talking it over at planning. I'm just a stupid fool, worried that she's going to miscarry while between doctors. *sigh*
We are getting a garbage tub (TUBS "brand" actually) tomorrow. We are SO gonna clean the basement and garage this weekend! We spent a ton of time this weekend working on that. I felt really icky after hauling stuff Monday, so that worries me. I stopped before I felt too bad, and I got "sick" feeling watching Hubby up in the attic with the ceiling bowing. I KNOW it is ok. I just had these horrible visions of going out there and finding all of our crap all over the garage floor, broken and destroyed. The weakest area seems to be right around the "hatch" so I think I can convince him to reinforce it a bit more. Ugh....feeling queasy just thinking about it!
Better start cleaning or unloading the dishwasher or something so I LOOK like I havein't been sitting on the computer since 4pm! In my defense, I WAS doing work for the first half hour!! :)
